Not sure about whether you want to go on an active adventure or sightseeing tour ?
Well, why not do both in one expedition ?
Our combo adventures offer a combination of some activities in the mountains and visiting some local attractions.
Chandrasilla Top trek is one of the popular trek that can be undertaken round the year, in Garhwal Himalayas. Chandrasilla summit is a rock face above the temple of Tungnath, the highest of all the temples of Lord Shiva in the Himalayas. It is a short but rigorous hike beyond the temple. The Chandrasilla summit affords the most beautiful view of the Nandadevi, Trishul, Kedar Peak and Chaukhamba Group of Peaks.
For those of you who have little time but want to gain the maximum in a short period, we offer special combo trips which are a mix of both rafting and trekking giving you the best of all that the Himalayas have to offer. Chandershila top and Dev Prayag down on the river Ganga is the shortest combo trip we can offer. It can be completed in 6 days and is nice and easy giving you a fare share of both the experiences in a week’s time.
Kuari Pass is probably the best window to view the high Himalayan peaks. The views are simply breathtaking with the Himalayan giants lined up in one magnificent arc easily making it one of the most wonderful views in the Himalayas. Some of the giants are seen are Kedarnath, Chaukambha, Nilkantha, Kamet, Gauri Parbat, Hathi Parbat, Nanda Devi, Bethartoli and Dunagiri ( all high 6000m and 7000m peaks). Southwards the mountain stretch wave upon wave into the dim haze of the distant plains. Starting from the famous ski resort of Auli the trek reaches Kuari Pass and ends at Tapovan completing a big semi – circle.
The Kuari pass trek is amongst the best in the Garhwal Mountains. The trail takes you through lush green fields, remote villages and virgin forests. The close range view of Mt. Nanda Devi along with numerous other peaks is the reward that awaits the trekker atop the Kuari pass! Add to this the fact that this combo trip also offers an river expedition down the River Ganga as well.
